Celebrating World Ballet Day 2025: Ballet in Public Spaces
- NYC Edition

1st October 2025 marks World Ballet Day, a global celebration of one of the most elegant and expressive art forms in the world. Ballet is more than just movement — it is storytelling through the body, discipline fused with grace, and emotion brought to life in every leap, turn, and step.

This year, Mrs. Sharmila of SNPhotography108 is proud to share her passion project:
📸 Dancers in Public Space – New York City, 2016

The project captures the magic of ballet in public spaces, where classical artistry meets the rhythm and energy of everyday life. Featured dancers bring this vision to life:

• Hailey Stockbrugger

• Lena Terry

• Sarina Patel

Through this collection, viewers witness the beauty of ballet beyond the stage — in streets, parks, and urban settings — showing how dance can transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. Each photograph tells a story of strength, elegance, and pure passion.

Whether you are a dancer, a lover of the arts, or simply inspired by grace in motion, Dancers in Public Space invites you to experience ballet in a fresh, exciting way.
